Independent verification
I test the working website separately from the person, agency, or tool that built it and document what customers encounter.
Mary GiguereWebsite Review
Website quality review
Independent website QA and UAT for businesses and web teams without dedicated QA support. I test the working site for functional issues, usability problems, accessibility concerns, mobile behavior, content errors, and other issues customers encounter, then deliver a prioritized report with evidence and suggested fixes.
01 / The Problem
A website may look finished while forms, navigation, mobile layouts, content, accessibility, links, and customer paths still have problems. Independent QA tests the working experience before those issues reach customers.
I use automated tools where they help and manual testing where interaction and judgment matter. You receive one prioritized report instead of raw tool output you have to interpret yourself.
I test the working website separately from the person, agency, or tool that built it and document what customers encounter.
I follow navigation, links, forms, CTAs, and key user paths to check whether the experience works from start to finish.
Each documented issue includes evidence, context, priority, and a suggested fix so your developer or web team knows what to address.
02 / Proof
I served on the Adobe team supporting the State of Illinois AEM modernization initiative. Joseph Fleitas and I co-led the onshore website testing team through the migration from SharePoint to Adobe Experience Manager.
The review work included content validation, page review, link checks, mobile and desktop testing, issue logging, accessibility-focused review, and launch support.
In enterprise environments, this process is often called User Acceptance Testing, or UAT.
The initiative received public, high-profile coverage from Forbes, Adobe, and the State of Illinois.
Most small businesses have never had access to this kind of review. That is the only reason this service exists.
03 / Review
Mary played a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a massive and complex State Web Modernization project as part of an Adobe Consulting team. She was a valuable member of the site migration team and demonstrated impeccable work throughout the project. Mary consistently delivered high-quality work with impressive speed and accuracy.

04 / Scope
I test navigation, links, CTAs, forms, key user paths, and other interactive behavior on the working website. The goal is to find defects customers encounter while trying to use the site.
Before launch, I review key pages, navigation, forms, CTAs, links, mobile behavior, content, and visible accessibility issues from a customer’s perspective.
Already live? I look for friction customers face now, including unclear navigation, broken paths, inconsistent content, form issues, mobile problems, and trust concerns.
I check migrated and redesigned pages for broken links, missing assets, publishing errors, formatting problems, inconsistent components, and content issues.
I review landing pages, forms, CTAs, destination links, mobile layouts, and page flow so campaign traffic reaches a clear, working experience.
I flag visible accessibility concerns such as missing labels, heading structure problems, contrast issues, keyboard access problems, and missing focus states. This is visible-issue review, not a formal WCAG conformance audit. See Service Limits.
Note: I use automated tools for repeatable technical checks and manual testing for interactions, context, and verification. The deliverable is a prioritized findings report, not raw tool output.

07 / Pricing
Every package includes a set number of documented findings. If I find more, I tell you before doing any extra work. You will never get a surprise invoice.
Each package includes documentation up to the stated finding limit. Findings include URL, screenshot, priority label, device or browser context, issue detail, and suggested fix. If additional issues are identified, expanded documentation is available in blocks of 10 findings for $150. No additional work proceeds without client approval. Additional pages are quoted separately. Reviews begin after scope confirmation, signed service agreement, and required payment. If I cannot deliver the agreed scope, your payment is refunded in full. Cancellations before work begins are refunded in full.
08 / Service Limits
This is an independent website review, not implementation or remediation.
09 / FAQ
User Acceptance Testing, or UAT, is the final human review before a website goes live. It confirms that pages, links, forms, content, navigation, and mobile behavior work as intended for real customers. Automated tools catch repeatable technical checks. Human review adds context, judgment, and the customer perspective.
Launch Check reviews take 2 business days. Starter reviews take 2 business days. Standard reviews take 4 to 5 business days. Expanded reviews are quoted by timeline based on page count, CMS complexity, and review depth.
Launch Check includes up to 8 documented findings. Starter includes up to 15. Standard includes up to 40. Expanded includes up to 75. If more issues are identified, additional documentation is available in blocks of 10 findings for $150. No documentation beyond the contracted limit begins without client approval.
Each review is delivered as a written report with screenshots. Every finding includes the URL, screenshot or visual reference, priority label (P1 High Priority through P4 Low), device or browser context, issue detail, and suggested fix. Reports close with a review summary.
Yes. Staging access is arranged during scoping. Do not send passwords, login credentials, or VPN details through the contact form. Secure access is coordinated separately. If confidential access is needed, the client must provide any required NDA before access is shared.
You get the report either way, including confirmation when no significant issues are found within the agreed scope. Knowing which pages hold up is useful before a launch. I will also tell you plainly if I think your scope is wrong, before you pay.
Automated testing handles repeatable checks efficiently. This review adds independent manual testing of user paths, forms, navigation, content, responsive behavior, and other areas that require interaction or context. I combine the results into one prioritized report with evidence and suggested fixes.
Yes. If confidential access is required, send your NDA during scoping before access is shared.
